Updated: Jun 11, 2023

In today's world, community development and progress go hand in hand with the allocation of resources toward essential areas such as safety, housing, infrastructure, and public spaces. The upcoming General Obligation Bond initiative in Phoenix promises to transform the city and enhance the lives of its residents. Video coverage of a press conference shed light on the campaign, capturing the enthusiasm and commitment of Phoenix Councilwoman Kesha Hodge Washington, Sunbelt Holdings CEO John Graham, and other key figures. Join us as we dive into the details of this inspiring event and explore the vision for a brighter future in Phoenix. If approved, the Bond will allocate $500 million of investments in community safety, affordable housing, street repairs, public parks, and projects such as renovations of the Children’s Museum of Phoenix, which would upgrade approximately 27,000 square feet of currently unused space and allow the Museum to serve significantly more Phoenix families.

“Let’s GO Phoenix!” is the campaign to ensure the Phoenix 2023 General Obligation Bonds are passed in November 2023. Led by Campaign Co-chairs Councilwoman Kesha Hodge Washington and John Graham as well as Executive Committee Chair Sharon Harper, “Let’s GO Phoenix!” supports the Phoenix GO Bond that will improve 911 response times, protect communities against floods, repair aging infrastructure, and prepare for summer’s extreme heat – all without increasing tax rates. It’s been nearly 20 years since Phoenix’s last GO Bond. By engaging the community and inspiring support, the campaign aims to secure a brighter future for the city. Let us embrace this opportunity to shape the destiny of Phoenix and create a thriving community for generations to come.
